It has been a busy 48 hours for Leeds United in the transfer market as The Whites continue their push to get unwanted players out of the Elland Road door, and below is a round-up of the latest news.

Daniel Farke’s side confirmed their sixth permanent sale on Tuesday in the form of Glen Kamara, while the club continue to push for the signing of Jayden Bogle. Plenty of others are being linked with a move, too.

Leeds bid twice for Jayden Bogle, but still below valuation

Sheffield United’s Bogle is a target for Leeds after he entered the final 12 months of his Bramall Lane deal. Leeds have made two bids for Bogle, both of which have been worth £4m but were structured differently.

Both bids have been turned down by Chris Wilder’s side, for a player Sheffield United expert Lee Connor believes would suit Leeds. Leeds’ interest remains in Bogle, but Leeds are being told to pay £7m for him.

Glen Kamara comments, what his exit means for Joe Rothwell

Kamara completed his £8.5m move on Tuesday to Rennes, and cited his new club’s ambition as a major part of his reasoning to leave Elland Road after just one season. But what does it mean at Leeds, now?

The Evening Post say Leeds will pursue a replacement for Kamara, while The Athletic’s Nancy Froston says Joe Rothwell could be the one to take on Kamara’s role in the starting Leeds XI under German boss Farke.

Rennes want another Leeds player who is considering his future

Crysencio Summerville is another that could leave Leeds and surprisingly, reports emerged after Kamara’s exit that Summerville could follow Kamara to Rennes with Desire Doue expected to leave the Ligue 1 side.

The Dutch winger is said to be ‘weighing up his future’ at Leeds with Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa among the sides interested in Summerville. But as things stand, he remains a Leeds player right now.

Real Betis now want to raid Leeds for a third time

La Liga side Real Betis have already completed permanent deals for Marc Roca and Diego Llorente this summer, but it appears Betis could raid Leeds for a third time in the form of left-back Junior Firpo.

Firpo is ‘expected’ to go after entering the final year of his Leeds contract and it appears Firpo would be open to rejoning his old club this summer. It is unclear how much Leeds would request for the left-back.

Everton confident of signing Leeds player for £22m

Interest in Willy Gnonto this summer was surprisingly small until this week. The Italy star is back on Everton’s radar, with the Toffees confident a £22m fee will be enough to land former Inter ace Gnonto.

However, Everton are not alone in pursuit of the pocket-sized winger. Newcastle could also make a move if they sell Miguel Almiron, while Aston Villa are said to have made a ‘soft enquiry’ earlier this summer.

Robin Koch reunion in sight as Leeds man edges closer to loan

Germany’s Euro 2024 man Koch signed permanently for Frankfurt this summer after agreeing a pre-contract at the start of the year. Now, he could be joined by Rasmus Kristensen, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Reports in Kristensen’s home country then reported that having turned down a move to his old club FC Midtjylland, a move to Frankfurt for Kristensen is likely to be a loan giving Leeds want a fee of £12.5m.
