Despite expecting a quiet January transfer window, Daniel Farke’s Leeds United side are being linked with a huge list of players and here are the 16 stars touted with a move to Elland Road so far.
The 16 players linked with Leeds United ahead of January window
Josh Brownhill – Burnley
Burnley are battling Leeds for promotion but they face a big loss in January, with star Josh Brownhill out of contract next summer. It could mean a January exit, and Leeds are one of the clubs eyeing Brownhill.
Diego Luna – Real Salt Lake
The MLS’ Young Player of the Season, one-time USA star Diego Luna is a target for Leeds. It comes after a stellar season with Real Salt Lake, with The Whites expected to try and bring a new attacking midfielder in.

Dor Turgeman – Maccabi Tel Aviv
Leeds have opened talks for £4m star Dor Turgeman. The 21-year-old is starring in Israeli football, having worked under Robbie Keane. Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that Manor Solomon is key to a deal.
Mahmoud Jaber – Maccabi Haifa
Alongside Turgeman, Leeds are also interested in the more-experienced Mahmoud Jaber. The midfielder is a regular with the Israel national team having recently faced the likes of France, Belgium and Italy.
Robbie Cook – Perth Glory
Surprisingly, Leeds are in the market for Perth Glory’s teen goalkeeper Robbie Cook. Leeds have tabled a three-year contract to sign Cook ahead of rivals Sunderland and Manchester United after having a trial.
Louie Barry – Aston Villa (on loan at Stockport County)
After scoring 15 goals in 21, Barry is on the radar of all the Championship’s big-hitters including Leeds. Stockport boss Dave Challinor has admitted it is “out of his control” as to whether Barry remains on loan.
Lennon Miller – Motherwell
Lennon Miller is starring north of the border after coming through The Well’s highly-esteemed academy. Leeds are one of a number of clubs interested in Miller, though Liverpool are preparing an £8m bid.

Khuliso Mudau – Mamelodi Sundowns
An experienced right-back, South Africa mainstay Khuliso Mudau has been linked with Leeds before. Now, Leeds are interested in Mudau again but a deal feels unlikely given The Whites have options at right-back.
James McAtee – Man City
Angus Kinnear said Leeds eyed James McAtee in the summer but Pep Guardiola blocked a move for City playmaker McAtee. Leeds’ interest in him remains, but Premier League clubs are also interested in him.
Dennis Cirkin – Sunderland
Left-back is likely to be a consideration with Junior Firpo injured and out of contract next summer. He is one of the Championship’s best left-backs and Leeds are considering an ambitious move for Cirkin.
Daniel Svensson – Nordsjaelland
Another left-back on Leeds’ radar is Daniel Svensson. The Sweden international has already far exceeded the level of Danish football, but Leeds are battling big clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal for Svensson.
Archie Brown – Gent
Like Svensson, Leeds are battling big clubs for Archie Brown. Max Dean’s teammate has earned interest from some of England’s biggest, while Jose Mourinho has made Brown a priority target for Fenerbahce.

Keelan Adams – Falkirk
Falkirk sit top of the Scottish Championship and right-back Adams has been key to that, having a hand in eight goals from right-back. Leeds, Swansea and Rangers all want to sign Adams ahead of the window.
Dario Essugo – Sporting Lisbon (on loan at Las Palmas)
Teen midfielder Dario Essugo has starred in La Liga this term, and it has attracted Leeds. A £6m loan-to-buy deal for Essugo is being eyed by Leeds, with Real Madrid and Barcelona also keeping tabs on Essugo.
Alan Minda – Cercle Brugge
Ecuador international Alan Minda is also a player on Leeds’ radar. It comes after having a hand in 14 goals last season for Cercle Brugge, but he’s struggled this season – managing no goals and just one assist.
Ben Godfrey – Atalanta
Leeds were interested in Ben Godfrey in the January window but he joined Serie A side Atalanta. However, he has struggled to play and Graeme Bailey has told LeedsUnited.News that Leeds still want Godfrey.
Abdukodir Khusanov – Lens
Bit of a left-field one, but Leeds are said to have made a £16.5m bid to sign Uzbekistan talent Khusanov. Whether that is true remains to be seen, but Leeds also face plenty of competition for the centre-back.

Mike Tresor – Burnley
Belgium international Tresor’s camp are aware of interest from Leeds, with the £16m Burnley signing yet to play a single game for Scott Parker this season. The chances of Burnley letting him join Leeds are small.
Christopher Wooh – Rennes
Jeunes Footeux say Leeds have made an enquiry for the Cameroon defender, as The Whites look to reignite links with Rennes after Glen Kamara’s move. Rennes are said to be looking for a fee of £6m.
