The transfer rumour mill is in full swing ahead of the January transfer window and it appears Leeds United are closing in on on ther first bit of business ahead of the winter market.
Daniel Farke recently said he expects a quiet window but that has not stopped numerous players being linked with Leeds, while others have been suggested as possible exits in a couple of weeks’ time.
Max Wober, Junior Firpo, Joe Gelhardt and Illan Meslier are all generating interest while Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.News over the weekend that Tottenham are keeping an eye on defender Pascal Struijk.
However, the first bit of business conducted by Leeds in the January window looks set to be an arrival in the form of a teenage star, with the youngster set to sign on from a non-European club next month.

Leeds set to sign Robbie Cook from Australian side Perth Glory
According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon on his Patreon channel, Leeds are closing in on a three-year deal to sign Perth Glory’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Robbie Cook and have seen of some serious competition.
Indeed, Cook is set to put pen to paper after a trial at Thorp Arch. Nixon claims Leeds have beaten the likes of promotion rivals Sunderland and enemies Manchester United to land the youngster’s signature.

Why Leeds are adding a young goalkeeper to their current ranks
Likely to go straight into the U18 side with a view to breaking past Rory Mahady in the U21 team, Cook has been on the bench for Perth Glory’s senior side without ever actually making his senior debut.
Leeds let Dani van den Heuvel leave for Club Brugge in the summer and that has left them with Mahady in goal, though the Scotland U19 star has impressed. U21 boss Scott Gardner is a big fan of Mahady.
But they need competition and it looks as if Cook is coming in to provide that, with the future goal of eventually replacing Karl Darlow and Alex Cairns who remain second and third choice behind Meslier.
