With Junior Firpo out of contract at the end of the season, Leeds United will be compiling a list of possible replacements on the left of the defence.
Firpo is only likely to sign a new deal at Leeds if the club get promoted to Premier League, but even then there will be interest in a player that has laid on 10 assists in his 39 Championship outings for Leeds.
Sunderland’s Dennis Cirkin has been linked with Leeds, but Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that there is another player on the Elland Road radar – another Englishman, but one currently playing abroad.

Graeme Bailey says Leeds United are interested in Archie Brown
Leeds have been linked with Archie Brown before, but now Graeme Bailey says Leeds are eyeing up a move for Gent’s 22-year-old left-back. A player that came through at Derby, but has since been at Gent.
The England U20 international has clocked up 64 senior appearances for Gent and Brown has starred during those, having a hand in 10 goals. It has alerted the interest of a number of clubs in England.
Graeme Bailey told LeedsUnited.News that Leeds want Brown: “Not for January. They’re obviously making plans for the summer, for next season. He’s one Leeds scouts have known about since he was at Derby.
“A lot of English scouts have. He’s played quite well in Belgium. He’s be very much on their radar, good player. They like him, but not one for January, but he is one they do like,” Bailey continued on Brown.

Promotion to the Premier League is key in deal for Archie Brown
Rated at £15m, Brown is a top talent and has a future in the Premier League. Indeed, if Leeds are to stand any chance of signing Brown, then promotion is key. But Bailey thinks The Whites stand a good chance.
He told us that if Leeds are in the Premier League, as a newly-promoted side the Yorkshire outfit would be able to make Brown first choice: “Obviously Leeds in the Premier League is a major draw for players.
“I don’t think they’d have any worries about going to head to head with people for him. They’d be able to offer first-team football in the Premier League they hope. He’s an interesting player, a good player.”
