Noah Okafor is heading for a medical today at Leeds United, with the AC Milan forward set to become the ninth signing of the summer.
As first revealed, Leeds United and the first hints of Noah Okafor interest were outlined by Leeds United News. It was then more concretely stated by Beren Cross that the AC Milan forward was being looked at by Leeds.
Movement on Okafor was then expected today after LUN exclusively revealed Okafor to Leeds is a done deal, pending a medical on Wednesday morning at Thorp Arch.
It means Okafor should be signed in time for Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday, and Daniel Farke has been instrumental throughout the Okafor deal. The German wanted the Swiss international at Elland Road this summer.

It’s also been made clear that Milan are open to selling Okafor before the transfer deadline. However, the deal has since accelerated rapidly and Leeds are close to wrapping it up.
Now, Leeds are set to seal a €20 million deal for the 25-year-old, with £13 million for Okafor the primary fee, although the add-ons will take Okafor’s deal closer to £18 million.

Everton and Arsenal had late Okafor interest but the winger or striker is on his way to West Yorkshire instead. That has since been pictured via Fabrizio Romano on Twitter/X.
The transfer guru has posted a picture of Okafor and his representatives, stating that he is on his way to England as he signs in as new Leeds player later today. Romano states it’s set to be a four-year contract plus a year’s option to extend.

The other two former Leeds and AC Milan players
Okafor’s display against Leeds for Milan in Dublin helped to convince the Whites. He will hope to be better than the last signing from Milan.
Zan Benedicic flopped at Leeds, albeit he never made an appearance for Milan’s first-team. Leeds will hope to have more luck than the last player to have played for both clubs, too.
Roque Junior also donned the white shirt and Milan colours, but he had a similarly disappointing time at Leeds. That is especially true with him being an international for Brazil.
Although Roque Junior endeared himself to Leeds fans with two goals against Manchester United in the League Cup, the Brazilian was sent off during his home debut against Birmingham City
Like Okafor has, Roque Junior even snubbed other clubs for Leeds. The Swiss forward will hope for a better career than both when he pulls on the shirt.
