Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including Noah Okafor updates, Matthis Abline interest, and Pascal Struijk’s transfer situation explained.
The transfer window has just under two weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their eight summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready now that the club’s return to the Premier League has arrived.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, Lucas Perri, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team off to a perfect start after a 1-0 win over Everton at Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Noah Okafor’s final fee from Milan to Leeds explained
As first revealed, Leeds interest and first signs of having Noah Okafor interest were revealed by Leeds United News. It was then stated by Beren Cross that the AC Milan forward was being looked at by Leeds.
Further Okafor movement was expected today and LUN exclusively revealed Okafor to Leeds is done, pending a medical on Wednesday morning. It means Okafor should be registered in time to face Arsenal and Farke has been instrumental to the deal.
Leeds are paying Milan around €20 million for the 25-year-old, with £13 million for Okafor the primary fee, although the add-ons will take it closer to £18 million according to Sky Sports’ Zinny Boswell.

Matthis Abline interest from Leeds re-emerges
Leeds have been linked with a No.10 and, with Bilal El Khannouss looking set to join Crystal Palace, Farke may be forced into a rethink this summer. Now, the latest name to be linked with a move to Elland Road is Nantes forward Matthis Abline.
The versatile winger or striker looks set to leave Ligue 1 this summer. Abline’s manager has explained the situation and his side is prepared for any player departures, including for their star man.
Earlier this summer, our transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey informed Leeds United News that Leeds had held talks to sign Abline from Nantes, alongside Sunderland. He may be the latest player they turn to as the window winds down.

Pascal Struijk’s situation explained
It’s fair to say that there have been concerns all summer regarding Pascal Struijk’s Leeds future. However, there has been minimal concrete interest in Leeds’ vice captain.
The giant centre-back was one of Leeds’ best players on Monday, but both Struijk and Willy Gnonto have been earmarked as PSR sales potentially all summer, given that they are assets with book values close to zero.
The latest information is that Villarreal are now in the race to sign Struijk. Of course, there is not long left in the window to replace him. Beren Cross is uncertain Struijk will be sold now, with so little left of the transfer window.
