Leeds United have made eight signings so far in the summer transfer window and here is what you need to know about them ahead of the Premier League opener vs Everton.

It’s been a busy, hard but productive summer transfer window so far for Leeds United, with eight new faces through the door.

Daniel Farke has worked to get his squad in shape for the Premier League relegation fight, paying particular attention to increasing the height, strength and experience of his side.

Leeds are not done yet and Farke is desperate for more attacking flair to be added to his arsenal before deadline day.

Here is every new face at Elland Road so far, though, as Leeds prepare for their Premier League opener vs Everton on Monday.

How much Leeds signed Nmecha for: Leeds signed Lukas Nmecha on a free transfer after he was released by Wolfsburg earlier this summer.

What he brings to Leeds: Nmecha has enjoyed a promising start to life at Leeds, already scoring twice during pre-season. The burly frontman brings competition to Joel Piroe for the No.1 striker position and more top-level experience than the other options Leeds had, like Mateo Joseph.

How much Leeds signed Bijol for: Leeds splashed out £15m to sign hardy centre-back Jaka Bijol from Italian side Udinese.

What he brings to Leeds: A seasoned Serie A operator, Bijol brings more grit and defensive expertise to the Leeds back-line and is expected to be first choice alongside Joe Rodon. However, the red card he picked up in his final Udinese game means he is suspended for the Everton fixture and will have to wait for his debut.

How much Leeds signed Bornauw for: Leeds picked up Sebastiaan Bornauw for a steal, paying just £5.1m for the big Belgian from Wolfsburg.

What he brings to Leeds: Bornauw provides yet more defensive reinforcement to the Leeds back-line, with Farke keen to ensure he has a lot of strength in depth at centre-back. He is a composed and solid defender. An injury picked up in pre-season means he won’t play against Everton either.

How much Leeds signed Gudmundsson for: Gabriel Gudmundsson cost Leeds United £10.3m in his switch from Lille.

What he brings to Leeds: Gudmundsson was one of Leeds’ most important signings of the summer as he will replace the crucial Junior Firpo at left-back.

Firpo contributed 10 assists and four goals as Leeds won the Championship title and though the Swede is unlikely to be quite as dangerous going forward, he is still a willing runner up the flank and is more aggressive in the tackle.

What he brings to Leeds: As his stunning strike against AC Milan proves, Stach could bring a spark to the Leeds side that will be crucial in survival. He is a great midfield marauder who has quality in the final third.

In addition, at 6’4″, he adds yet more height and strength to the middle of the park.

How much Leeds signed Perri for: Leeds snagged Lucas Perri for £13.9m, rising to £15.6m, from French side Lyon.

What he brings to Leeds: Leeds’ most crucial signing of the summer, bar none. Leeds could not afford to go into the season with Illan Meslier as No.1 and Perri has literally been given the number.

The Brazilian is a safe and steady shot-stopper with a massive 50m throw that could be a real secret weapon for Leeds.
