Leeds United are starting to make moves in the transfer window with an offer now on the table.

Daniel Farke and the 49ers are beginning to bring their exciting transfer window into place.

There have been plenty of names linked with a switch to Elland Road as the owners are weighing up options fit for the Premier League.

Four ‘priority’ positions are being eyed, and recent updates might favour Farke’s plans.

Leeds have found a potential central midfielder to tick off one ‘priority’ with Pep Guardiola a big fan.

Leeds United eyeing Southampton and former Man City star Shea Charles

With a chance for some of the Championship’s best last season to make a step-up to the Premier League, Shea Charles is certainly one.

The Southampton gem was excellent for Sheffield Wednesday on loan last season, and since his £15m departure from Man City, the 21-year-old has shone.

Farke now has the youngster on his radar with Leeds targeting Charles following a campaign where he was nominated for young player of the season.

Guardiola labelled Charles ‘fantastic’, and the Whites could land a bargain who could provide serious competition for Ethan Ampadu.

49ers line up £22m bid for Leeds target Habib Diarra

Rumours have been circulating, but it has been clear that no official bid has been put in for targets.

Well, that is set to change with Leeds lining up a £22m bid for Strasbourg’s Habib Diarra, who is very highly rated.

Despite uncertainty around the truth of the deal, Graham Smyth confirmed Leeds’ interest in Diarra.

A £22m bid might not be accepted though, and instead Leeds could look into Diarra’s hidden release clause.

Leeds target Hidemasa Morita will leave Sporting Lisbon

With exciting developments happening elsewhere, another target is heading for the exit door.

Ao Tanaka’s teammate Hidemasa Morita will leave Sporting this summer, as Leeds are very keen on the 30-year-old.

The Japanese international has appeared as a solid option for Farke in the top flight, with Morita being a Ruben Amorim favourite.

Leeds can now stamp down their authority and potentially secure a bargain with a £6.8m fee being mooted.
