Leeds United are in the perfect position for an exciting summer at Elland Road, with money certainly not a problem.

The 49ers are set to make up for the last few windows of disappointment with a record-breaking window.

Previously, the highest amount Leeds have spent in a summer window amounted to £137m in the 2022/23 season.

This saw the likes of Georginio Rutter enter the frame, but it was still not enough to keep Leeds in the Premier League.

Now, with the owners set to splash £150m this window, the four main positions that Daniel Farke needs to tick off have been named.

It seems as though he’s ready to do that, as Sky Sports have revealed where Leeds’ priority signings lie this summer.

The outlet reports that a new goalkeeper, centre-back, central midfielder, and striker are the club’s priorities.

They are willing to spend around ‘£30m’ on each of those positions, which could already take them past the £120m mark.

It’s clear the plan of action is to then bolster options in both full-back positions and the right-wing, as Farke might influence with ‘younger, more promising’ players coming to Leeds.

With these areas of the squad now being made clear as the first point of call, the suggestion now is where to kick off proceedings.

Farke believes six current starters will stay in their position, but that means five areas have been left unanswered.

It’s hard to improve on a squad which did so well in the second-tier after a 100-point campaign, but it’s clear where Leeds must start.
