Marc Roca is now doing everything he can to leave Leeds United permanently this summer

It is now long before all of Leeds United’s loan contingent return to the club in the summer.

Several members of Leeds’ first team squad departed the club in the wake of relegation almost 12 months ago, but not all of them have been able to secure permanent moves.

In fact, only Luis Sinisterra and Robin Koch have been able to do so, so far, with Leeds pulling in around £20 million through the sale of the former to Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, if Brenden Aaronson is not welcomed back into the fold by Daniel Farke, Leeds could lose as much as £15 million by selling him.

However, Farke’s comments after the sale of Sinisterra are a big indicator he does not want them back, meaning Aaronson, Max Wober, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, Jack Harrison and Diego Llorente all could be in for uncertain summers.

Spanish media share update on future of Leeds loanee Roca

Roca is actually one of the players to have enjoyed a good season out on loan, with Real Betis very pleased with the performances he has produced.

Betis are keen for him to stay beyond his initial but having said that, the finances involved in the deal could prove to be a major stumbling block.

Betis may actually be hoping Roca’s parent club Leeds do not get promoted to the Premier League, as it would enable them to sign him on loan again.

But in a new update by ElDesmarque, a deal is starting to look more promising with Roca said to be doing everything in his power to ensure he gets his move.

It is said Roca’s desire for a move is ‘fundamental’ to a deal being done, and that Leeds will now not make it too difficult in order to do so.

Roca permanent exit suits all parties

For all parties, hopefully this is one that gets over the line permanently for somewhere in the region of the £10.9 million Leeds paid Bayern Munich for him.

He has spoken on a number of occasions this season how happy he is now at Betis, making it clear it is the club he wants to be at long-term.

With Leeds owing £190 million in unpaid transfer fees, getting in some cash for players like Roca will help significantly help reduce that figure in the coming years.
