Leeds United are unlikely to welcome back any of their loan contingent regardless of what happens this season.
Robin Koch has already sealed his permanent move to Eintracht Frankfurt, while Diego Llorente could be about to follow him with Paris Saint Germain keen on signing him this month.
There is more uncertainty surrounding the likes of Luis Sinisterra and Jack Harrison, but it has been reported that Leeds are unlikely to welcome any of them back, as per the Daily Mail.
One player whose club is desperate to sign them permanently is Marc Roca, but much of what happens with that situation is dependant on whether Leeds get promoted to the Premier League.
However, according to El Desmarque, Roca has become ‘one of the most highly sought after’ players in La Liga following his performances during the first half of the season at Real Betis.
Leeds loanee Roca in demand
It is said that if Leeds fail to get promoted, there is a clause in Roca’s deal that will Betis to sign him on loan for another season. At the same time, he could also be signed permanently for £12 million.
On the other hand, if promotion is achieved, then the two clubs would have to re-enter negotiations as no future fee was agreed should this scenario occur.
El Desmarque also report that Betis are currently unable to pay over £17.2 million on a transfer fee due to their financial issues, which could throw his future wide open in the summer.
However, if this report is indeed true, and several Spanish clubs are circling over a move for the 27-year-old, then that puts Leeds in an excellent position to sell for a decent fee.
Roca has said himself that Betis is the club he wants to be at for a number of years, but ultimately, if they cannot afford him, then that is out of his hands and he may have to consider another club.
