Real Betis already have a double agreement in place with Leeds United for Marc Roca next summer.
That is according to Estadio Deportivo, who report that Betis have agreed an option-to-buy of £10.5 million to sign Roca at the end of the season, if Leeds are promoted.
However, if Leeds fail to secure an immediate return to the Premier League, the two clubs have shook hands on another loan deal that will see him extend his stay at Betis by another year.
It is said that all three parties are happy with the arrangement they have in place for next summer, particularly given the impressive form Roca has shown since his move from Leeds.
Roca has been named in Spain’s preliminary squad for the upcoming international break and has started 14 of Betis’ 16 matches across all competitions, highlighting the impact he has made so far.

This feels like a really good deal for all parties as if he is sold permanently upon promotion, Leeds will have made all their money back on what they paid Bayern Munich back in 2022.
Alternatively, another loan deal is clearly beneficial for if Leeds are still in the Championship, as the money saved on wages is important to complying with profit and sustainability rules.
Roca has spoken of his happiness since joining Betis and has left the door open to extending his stay there, but insists he will be leaving that to his representatives.
What’s more, Betis sporting director Ramon Planes has also discussed publicly the positive impact Roca has had on Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Spanish football clearly suits Roca’s playing style a great deal more than what the Premier League did and it appears as though a good solution has been found for all parties here.
