Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on the Rodrigo Muniz pursuit, Bilal El Khannouss, and Isaac Schmidt’s future.
The transfer window has around five weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are continuing their excellent work in the market as more concrete transfer news emerges to add to their seven summer signings.
Only Burnley have been more active in the Premier League so far, but a busy summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all become Leeds players in recent weeks, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for Farke and the recruitment team in pre-season ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Isaac Schmidt has Bundesliga interest from Max Wober’s Werder Bremen
It was previously suggested that Isaac Schmidt might stay at Leeds after Premier League promotion, which came shortly after Schmidt threatened to leave Leeds if his game time didn’t improve.
Farke has previously discussed Schmidt’s game time with numerous Leeds fans frustrated for Schmidt and in agreement that he should be utilised more regularly with starts and minutes later in games, too.
Now, an exit could be on the cards. Schmidt has Bundesliga interest from Werder Bremen. That will only be green lit if Leeds secure another full-back this summer, though.

Bilal El Khannouss competition ramps up from Crystal Palace
Leeds have interest in Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss over the last week. El Khanouss was named as someone who could replace Brenden Aaronson much earlier this summer.
El Khannouss was even part of our dream Leeds XI, albeit most of the options named have headed elsewhere or not emerged as serious targets in the same way he has.
However, Leeds aren’t the only team interested, with Crystal Palace joining the El Khannouss race. It’s said that El Khannouss would cost around £22 million as he has a relegation release clause in his deal.

Rodrigo Muniz’s situation has remained frustrating for Leeds for weeks
It’s been clear for a while now that Rodrigo Muniz is Leeds’ top striker target in the summer transfer window. That said, nothing has yet materialised between them and Fulham.
It’s been stated that Leeds are making good progress on a deal for Muniz but there has been no movement since Leeds made a second Muniz bid after an initial £32 million package was rejected as their opening bid.
It’s now reported that the second bid from Leeds for Muniz is still on the table without an answer from Fulham. It means they have weighed it up for weeks if that is the case.
