Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Largie Ramazani, Dilane Bakwa, and Facundo Buonanotte.

The transfer window has less than a week remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their 10 summer signings.

A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion but also needing to be trimmed via exits as well.

In the meantime, with vital days ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team recovering from the 5-0 defeat to Arsenal, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Dilane Bakwa interest from Nottingham Forest and Leeds

Leeds targeted Dilane Bakwa as Igor Paixao’s alternative but Nottingham Forest remain very keen on Bakwa. The interest from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side is in spite of bringing in numerous forwards already this summer.

Forest had a £26 million bid for Bakwa rejected. There was talk that Forest were set to sign Bakwa for £28 million at one stage as well. However, Leeds remain in the race and nothing has materialised for either Premier League side.

Leeds were stepping up their efforts to bring in Bakwa from RC Strasbourg over the weekend. However, Forest have made a £30 million Bakwa bid. That latest update could mean Leeds are outbid in their efforts.

Facundo Buonanotte developments at Brighton

Farke wants a hybrid playmaker who can play as a No.10 or winger. That type of profile fits that of Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte Brighton for Leeds.

With Leeds having Buonanotte interest over a year ago before he joined Leicester City on loan, recent weeks have seen Buonanotte emerge as a more serious target again.

It’s been clear all summer that Buonanotte is not in Brighton’s plans after his return from Leicester. Brighton prefer a loan to England. That stance has since been doubled down on in the most recent reports.

Lyon want Buonanotte but Brighton prefer an English loan or permanent exit this summer. Leeds may have to push harder on Buonanotte if Bakwa heads to Forest.

Largie Ramazani’s situation with Valencia interest

It is believed that a permanent clause was to be included Largie Ramazani’s loan, while Leeds were pushing for a loan fee to be added. Despite these obstacles, Valencia are ‘confident’ of doing a deal.

Ramazani is keen on the Valencia move and it is ‘expected’ that Ramazani will exit Leeds for the La Liga outfit. So much so, that Carlos Corberan’s Valencia think Ramazani could be signed in time to play against Getafe on Friday evening.

A deal is edging closer to finalisation, as Valencia are open to a move without a buy option for Ramazani. That is one of the obstacles to overcome and a deal should materialise imminently.
