Leeds United are expected to clear the decks this week ahead of next Monday’s deadline, with the club closing in on their tenth summer signing in the form of James Justin from Leicester.
Daniel Farke’s side are finally set to sign England international Justin for a £10m fee from Leicester, after LeedsUnited.News initially broke the news that Leeds wanted to sign the versatile full-back this summer.
It sees Leeds eventually bring in more cover at full-back having replaced Junior Firpo with the signing of Gabriel Gudmundsson, and opting to hand Sam Byram another year. Isaac Schmidt is set to leave Leeds.
There are a number of players who could leave Leeds in the final week. Schmidt is set to join Max Wober at Werder Bremen, while Illan Meslier has been offered to Como. Lorient have held talks to sign Meslier.

Largie Ramazani has said yes to Carlos Corberan and Valencia
Danny Mills thinks Leeds could terminate Patrick Bamford’s contract, while Largie Ramazani’s future at Leeds has come under the spotlight after the signing of Noah Okafor – making him fifth-choice winger.
On Saturday evening, Ramazani was not even included in Farke’s squad to take on Arsenal. It later came to light that Carlos Corberan wanted him at Valencia and a loan deal is currently being negotiated.

Now, Spanish site Super Deporte say that Ramazani has given his ‘approval’ to a loan move to the La Liga side. Valencia are coached by Marcelo Bielsa’s former assistant in Corberan, where he has impressed.
Leeds are said to have kept tabs on Corberan during Farke’s era as manager, with the Spaniard joining Valencia midway through last season and taking them from the relegation zone to mid-table obscurity.

Leeds have more hope for Mateo Joseph than Largie Ramazani
Ramazani knows all about La Liga, impressing for Almeria before his £10m move to Leeds, including a goal against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. A loan to Valencia could get the best out of him.
There are a couple of sticking points, however. Talks are ongoing between Leeds and Valencia over a permanent fee, while Leeds want a loan fee included. Valencia had been hoping to strike a free loan.
But all signs point towards an exit for Ramazani to Valencia, with a move now ‘expected’. But the fact that Leeds only wanted to send Mateo Joseph on loan without a clause shows he still has a future at Leeds.
That, or they hope his form at Mallorca drums up interest and a bigger fee next summer. With Ramazani, it seems Leeds are willing to cut their ties by including a permanent clause in the season-long loan.
