Manor Solomon’s wife makes it clear she wants Tottenham player to return to Leeds United

Rewind three months, and every Leeds United fan was hoping the club would pull off a permanent deal to sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham beyond the end of his season-long loan.

Deemed a risky signing in the summer of 2024, Solomon joined Leeds on loan having not played for the best part of a year. He tore his meniscus just six games after joining Tottenham from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Daniel Farke opted to bring Solomon to Elland Road and after a shaky first couple of months, Solomon proved to be a key attacker for Leeds in their bid to win the title. He clocked up 23 goals and assists.

Not least, the goal that won the Championship title in injury time against Plymouth. But such form convinced Solomon of a second chance at Tottenham. Thomas Frank wanted to take a look at Solomon.

But it has not been a good pre-season for Solomon. Injury has struck and he missed the trip to South Korea. Spurs have signed Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison looks like a player reborn under Frank.

Solomon is fit again, but the winger’s chances of game time at Spurs seem unlikely even with Frank’s men in Europe. Now, Solomon’s wife Dana Voshina has dropped a hint that she would like him to go to Leeds.

Voshina posted a TikTok of Solomon on Sunday, and there were plenty of Leeds fans in the comments urging Solomon to return to Leeds. Voshina liked a couple, as seen below, urging Solomon to join Leeds.

Clearly, Voshina would like her husband to return to Leeds this summer. Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has told LeedsUnited.News that Solomon could still join Leeds and is likely to cost around a £20m fee.

Why Manor Solomon could still end up at Leeds United…

Farke has made it publicly clear that he is still in the market for more attacking options. That is even after the signing of Noah Okafor for Milan, while another £10m is set to be spent on Leicester’s James Justin.

Largie Ramazani is off to Valencia on loan, while Wolves have won the race for Christantus Uche. Leeds are being linked with Nico Gonzalez and Dilane Bakwa, but there is clearly still space for another winger.

If Leeds fail to get Bakwa with Sunderland and Forest pushing, and a deal to land Gonzalez proves too difficult at this stage, Leeds could still end up with Solomon before next Monday’s transfer deadline.
