Leeds United are reportedly in talks over a loan deal for Brighton & Hove Albion attacking midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.
That is according to Argentinian journalist Victor Bilsky, as per the Yorkshire Evening Post, who report discussions are underway between the two clubs.
It is said that Leeds are looking to do a deal for a season-long-loan that includes a purchase option in 12 months’ time, with Roberto De Zerbi already having admitted he may have to leave this summer.

Via the Athletic, the Brighton boss claimed while he would like Buonanotte to remain in his squad, he cannot guarantee him regular game time and as such, a loan deal is a possibility.
Brighton only signed the 18-year-old from Rosario Central in January and given their track record of developing young players, it is difficult to see them allowing him to move on permanently this early into his Seagulls career.
Leeds ‘in talks’ to sign Buonanotte from Brighton
As is often the case at Brighton, Buonanotte was handed the opportunity to shine in the first team last season and made 14 appearances in all competitions following his move.
He scored his first goal for the club on his full league debut back in April, netting the opener in a 3-1 defeat away at Nottingham Forest.

Buonanotte made a further six starts for Brighton during the final weeks of the season, including in a 1-0 win over Manchester United, and 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
His first start at the club came in an FA Cup victory away at Championship side Stoke City in February, with his performance drawing praise from club captain Lewis Dunk, who labelled him as ‘excellent’.
Buonanotte would represent a significant coup for Leeds if they are able to get it over the line.
