Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Bilal El Khannouss, Dilane Bakwa, and imminent new arrival Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The transfer window has less than three weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their seven summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team preparing ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Leeds’ chances of Bilal El Khannouss signing grow
It was said Leeds held a meeting with Bilal El Khannouss’ camp last week and also that Leeds’ El Khannouss interest has been most serious of any of the reported teams in the race of late.
Of course, it speaks to his quality that Newcastle United have also been linked with El Khannouss in recent days, too. The other club with the strongest interest in the player appears to be Crystal Palace who like El Khannouss as well.
The latest, however, is that Leicester are likely to sell El Khannouss and now Newcastle have dropped out of the El Khannouss race, too. It could leave it wide open for a straight shootout between Leeds and Palace.

The details of Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s move to Leeds
Leeds’ first Dominic Calvert-Lewin approach occurred over a month ago via a phone call to the player and it became clear in recent days that Calvert-Lewin was a serious consideration for Leeds over Rodrigo Muniz.
David Ornstein then confirmed the details of Leeds’ deal for Calvert-Lewin after the two struck an agreement yesterday. The 28-year-old rejected Sunderland in favour of Leeds to make the move to West Yorkshire.
The details of Leeds’ agreement for Calvert-Lewin have since been revealed. It was reported at one stage of the summer that the former Everton star wanted £150k per week but Leeds have agreed a better deal than that for the club.

Premier League move likely for Leeds target Dilane Bakwa
Some wingers are being eyed and Dilane Bakwa was linked alongside Bilal El Khannouss. That came around the time that we suggested Dilane Bakwa as an option for Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The French RC Strasbourg winger ticks plenty of the boxes Leeds are looking for and Bakwa was again name dropped for Leeds recently. That said, the 22-year-old has other interest in his services, including in the Premier League as well.
Leeds aren’t the only interested party and it was claimed that Nottingham Forest then had a bid for Bakwa rejected in recent days. Going further than that, Forest are now closing in on Bakwa from Strasbourg.
