Leeds United have serious interest in Bilal El Khannouss this summer, but the Whites are not the only Premier League side with interest.
Leeds United are now focused on attacking additions currently and Bilal El Khannouss has emerged as a Leeds target, which followed on from our suggestions that the 49ers should look at El Khannouss to replace Brenden Aaronson.
Crystal Palace are also in for El Khannouss and Sunderland are keen to activate his release clause with Leicester’s playmaker. That said, Leeds fans are unsure on El Khannouss and his suitability.
His goal involvements for Leicester are now at 10 in total, but only five of those have come in English football’s top flight. The 21-year-old was unable to keep Leicester up despite his trickery from set-pieces.

Leeds target Bilal El Khannouss has Premier League interest from Newcastle United
Leeds’ interest has been the most serious of any of the reported teams and El Khannouss wants regular minutes, while it’s also reported El Khannouss is keen on the move to Leeds if a deal can be struck.
On that front, wages should not be an issue for Leeds with El Khannouss. The attacking midfielder can operate as an attacking midfielder, central midfielder, or as a winger — and that kind of versatility will suit Leeds well.
He could be deployed as a No.10 in a 4-2-3-1 or out wide or deeper in a 4-3-3. However, the fact he is a versatile and creative player means that there is other interest in him. Now, another club has joined the race for the player.
El Khannouss has interest from Champions League side Newcastle United, according to The Telegraph’s John Percy. They are the latest Premier League outfit to register serious interest.
Percy states Newcastle have a strong interest in El Khannouss and are looking at a possible deal but also that other Premier League clubs, including Leeds are interested.
Leeds want to pay El Khannouss’ £24.5 million clause but with the expiry of this figure now less than a week away, they face serious competition from Eddie Howe’s side.
James Justin and El Khannouss both played yesterday in a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, with the Leicester City playmaker notching two assists from set-pieces.

Bilal El Khannouss’ insane opening weekend with Leicester in the Championship
El Khannouss was one of the Championship’s standout players on opening weekend, underlining why he has no reason to be playing second tier football this season.
Per Squawka, no player created more chances, created more big chances or provided more assists than El Khannouss in the Championship’s first fixtures of the campaign.
He had the most chances created (4), the most big chances created (3), the most assists (2). That is why teams are willing to pay for his potential and bring him back to the Premier League, even at the top end of the division.
