Leeds United are contending with the likes of Newcastle United and Crystal Palace for Leicester City playmaker Bilal El Khannouss.
There is the need for some X-factor and final third differentials in this Leeds United team, which includes more output in terms of goals and assists.
Only 21, Bilal El Khannouss has plenty of potential but also the ability to impact games now. He is a set-piece taker in a team full of height and physicality.
It was said Leeds held a meeting with El Khannouss’ camp last week and also that El Khannouss’ wage demands are not an issue for the West Yorkshire outfit.

Newcastle United pull out of Bilal El Khannouss race to sign Jacob Ramsey
Leicester are likely to sell El Khannouss and it’s also thought that playing in Europe is not decisive for El Khannouss in terms of which club he decides to join this summer.
Leeds’ El Khannouss interest has been most serious of any of the reported teams in the race so far but Newcastle United have also registered El Khannouss interest in recent days, too.
The other club with the strongest interest in the player appears to be Crystal Palace who like El Khannouss and see him as a potential Eberechi Eze replacement. However, there have been developments on both fronts.
Fabrizio Romano claims Newcastle are closing in on a deal for an alternative attacking midfielder, with Jacob Ramsey moving from Aston Villa. He claims that it will cost around £40 million as a package for the clubs to finalise the deal.
Not only that but Craig Hope of The Daily Mail has since confirmed Ramsey is seen as the alternative target to other midfielders Newcastle have considered, including Ramsey.

Leeds will worry about Crystal Palace’s El Khannouss interest after Fabrizio Romano’s latest reveal
It’s very likely that Leeds’ primary contender for El Khannouss’ signature now is Palace, but the news is less positive on that front. It could mean a straight shootout between the pair is imminent.
Leeds’ Premier League rivals have serious interest from Tottenham Hotspur in Eze, who is their star player and a creative and goalscoring attacking midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Eze is keen on the move to Spurs. In turn, Eze’s exit could see interest from the Eagles firm up in El Khannouss.
However, there are just two days left for El Khannouss’ release clause to be activated by any clubs who have an interest and want to see a deal materialise.
