Leeds United know a win against Plymouth Argyle will seal the title, irrespective of what Burnley do against Millwall.

Their vastly superior goal difference makes them the clear favourites for the title, per Opta. While the likes of David Prutton believe they will also secure the 100 points needed.

The injured players include Junior Firpo and Dan James, which is an unfortunate situation for the former given that he is out of contract this summer. For everyone connected with the club, it’s party time no matter what happens.

That’s been seen down in the city of Plymouth in Devon, which has been totally overwhelmed by Leeds fans, including Eddie Gray joining in with the fun last night ahead of the game today.

Leeds players spotted in the away end at Plymouth Argyle

A number of Leeds fans are expected to have found a way into the home end but the away contingent will be joined by some familiar faces as well.

That’s because Pascal Struijk, James Debayo, Dan James, and Firpo are in the away end watching on among Leeds supporters, as shown above from the BBC’s Jonathan Buchan.

Not only that, but James has taken the opportunity to conduct his own chant and enjoy the celebrations while he is injured, per Graham Smyth.

A win and the title isn’t guaranteed today but Leeds players and fans alike can be pleased with their efforts over the season ahead of 2025/26 and the Premier League. There are two titles present at both Turf Moor and Home Park today.

Leeds miss Junior Firpo against Plymouth

Firpo’s ability to attack and hold width gets so much more out of Manor Solomon down the left, allowing him the time and space to cut inside and work his magic.

Sam Byram hasn’t got the left foot required to operate well with an inverted winger. It stifles Leeds’ attacking play down that side with him checking back so frequently.

No full-back has more goal contributions than Firpo’s 14 this season in the Championship, with Jayden Bogle second on that particular ranking. Leeds’ wing play is vital to the way Daniel Farke’s side operate.
