Leeds United and Burnley are set to have a record-breaking title race on the final day.
It’s been two phenomenal performances from both sides as both Daniel Farke and Scott Parker should be proud of their efforts.
97 points a piece after Leeds’ win vs Bristol City, and the season has really gone down to the wire.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 45 | 28 | 13 | 4 | 93 | 29 | 64 | 97 | |
| 2 | 45 | 27 | 16 | 2 | 66 | 15 | 51 | 97 |
Leeds probably have the easier fixture than Burnley with a Plymouth side needing a vast goalfest to stay up, whilst Parker’s sdie face high-flying Millwall who are going for the playoffs.
But now the Opta Supercomputer has predicted how likely it is for either Leeds or the Clarets to claim the trophy.

Supercomputer predicted league winner out of Leeds United and Burnley
Of course, promotion has been achieved for both sides, so the pressure is off in terms of that propsect.
However, there are bragging rights to be had, and Ethan Ampadu has warned Scott Parker’s Burnley.
No doubt whatever happens, both sides deserve plaudits for their work this season, but their can only be one winner.
With Sheffield United firmly out of the race, it’s clear these two are streets ahead, and with both Parker and Farke gearing up for the Premier League, this will just give them that bit more confidence.
Well now the Opta Supercomputer verdict is in, and it’s a good look for Leeds fans.
According to Opta Analysts, Leeds have a 70.32% chance, whereas Burnley find themselves with a 29.68% likelihood.

What the Supercomputer predicted back in March will shock Leeds fans
This isn’t to say the Whites won’t struggle at Plymouth who will be trying everything they can to acheive safety.
But a 24-goal swing is extremly unlikely to happen, which takes no genius to figure out.
So the cards are in Leeds’ hands, and after Parker called Leeds lucky, he’ll probably be thinking the same again.
However, he’ll be the one feeling lucky as the Opta Supercomputer isn’t always right, and going off the March prediction, it got it extremly wrong.
Opta predicted Sheffield and Leeds to be promoted, with Burnley finishing on an average of 92.6 points.
| 1. | Leeds United – predicted points: 96.8 |
| 2. | Sheffield United – predicted points: 93.8 |
| 3. | Burnley – predicted points: 92.6 |
| 4. | Sunderland – predicted points: 84.0 |
| 5. | Coventry City – predicted points: 71.6 |
| 6. | West Brom – predicted points: 70.4 |
How things have changed now, and it just shows the brilliance of both outfits.
It’s in Leeds’ hands but the Championship might once more throw up another curveball in this crazy season.
