Promotion is secured for Leeds United, but the job isn’t done just yet.
Daniel Farke has managed to guide the Whites back to the Premier League, defeating plenty of obstacles along the way.
It’s a credit to the owners as the 49ers always backed Farke, and their loyalty proved valuable to Leeds.
Someone who was certainly a big influence off the pitch as well as on it was Ethan Ampadu, with the centre-back captaining Farke’s side.
In true captain fashion, the job isn’t done as a title is still there to be won in a battle with Scott Parker’s Burnley.

Leeds United’s Ethan Ampadu sends warning to Burnley
As any captain would do, they obviously want more.
That gives the exact reason why Farke chose the 24-year-old to lead his squad this season.
Even though it’s an ecstatic feeling for Farke and Leeds to secure their goal, Ampadu is clearly not happy just yet.
Both the Whites and Burnley deserve the title, but unfortunately, that’s not how it works.
Previously, the supercomputer predicted Leeds to win the League, but Burnley will have something to say about that.
However, a source from The Athletic has now confirmed that Ampadu is adamant on achieving just one thing.
Someone close to the defender recently spoke to him with ‘encouragement about the struggles of Sheffield United’, how it didn’t matter if Burnley kept winning, because Leeds could be clear in the top two.
They were ‘scalded’ in short order by Ampadu as he said he wasn’t just interested in getting promoted — he wanted to win the league.

How the Championship title race is shaping up for Leeds
Sheffield United just couldn’t quite get onto the level of Leeds and Burnley, who have been a step above.
Both Farke and Parker could be set for 100-point seasons, but the ball is firmly in Leeds’ court.
Leeds have a superior goal difference, which gives them the edge, but Burnley might have the easier fixtures.
Farke’s side face tricky tests of play-off chasing Bristol City and an away trip to relegation-fighting Plymouth Argyle.
Burnley, on the other hand, have games against QPR and Millwall, which don’t have much to play for.
Leeds are seemingly the favourites, but the race is now down to two.
