Dan James initially came close to joining Leeds United on deadline day during the 2019 January transfer window.
Ultimately, it would be another couple of years before he would make the move, with a stint at Manchester United in between.
The Welsh international spent some time on loan at Fulham while with The Whites but is now one of Daniel Farke’s most important players.
James was one of Leeds’ best players as they won the Championship title in 2025, scoring 12 goals and setting up 9.
