As Daniel Farke gears up to a Premier League season with Leeds United, behind the scenes talks are ongoing.
These talks revolve around whether Leeds want to welcome the season with Farke still at the helm.
It brings up a surprise debate after Farke has managed a successful season in the Championship.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 44 | 27 | 13 | 4 | 89 | 29 | 60 | 94 | |
| 2 | 44 | 26 | 16 | 2 | 61 | 15 | 46 | 94 |
The ownership have made their stance clear as the 49ers want to keep Farke but this won’t stop murmurs around Elland Road.
However, what Paraag Marathe said at the start of Farke’s rein paints the accurate picture for the German.

Paraag Marathe already answered Daniel Farke sack claims at Leeds United
It could be an exciting season for the Whites who can look forward to hopefully a competant ownership in the Premier League.
After the days of Andrea Radrizzani, this is definitely needed.
All the signs are pointing to success as Marathe has laid out a five-year plan at Leeds, which could see the Whites become a top-eight Premier League side.
Whether that is with Farke or not is another question, but if he does get sacked, Marathe will have completely contradicted what he said in 2023.
Speaking to the Official Leeds United Podcast, Marathe made a claim about Farke which shows exactly what will be done with the Whites boss this summer.
“He knows the grit, he knows the fight to get through the Championship,” Marathe said.
“Let me be clear, this isn’t a short-term thing either.
“I don’t think he had a fair stack of cards when he was in the Premier League.
“We’re going to give him the deck of cards. I think he could be a very successful coach across Europe.
“This isn’t just, ‘hey get us through the championship’”

If Marathe sacks Farke it spells trouble for Leeds fans
For once it seems like the fanbase is happy with the ownership which has been a rarity around the club.
But Marathe and the 49ers seem to be ticking the right boxes, so they won’t want to make any crucial mistakes.
Sacking Farke could be one, and is certainly a risky one, as Leeds want an Andoni Iraola-like appointment.
Although this could work, not only would it be harsh to sack Farke, who is one to achieve 100 points this campaign, but it would also go against his promise to the Leeds boss.
After Marathe went against his ‘aggressive’ transfer window pledge with not much spending done so far, pressure will begin to build on him if Farke is dismissed.
