Amid this fresh wave of uncertainty around Daniel Farke’s future at Leeds United, the club have seemingly come to a conclusion on the matter.
Leeds United have been tipped to make a very drastic call and potentially replace manager Daniel Farke ahead of the new season, despite the German earning a third career promotion from the Championship on Monday.
It was claimed that Leeds United were reconsidering Farke’s position and we even had a couple of managers linked with the Elland Road job, including Cesc Fabregas, with murmurings of Jose Mourinho as well.
Reports revealed that Leeds United were monitoring Fabregas at Como but he’s set to stay at the Serie A club for the time being, and Farke’s now set to stay in charge at Elland Road, per an emerging report from The Athletic.

Daniel Farke set to remain in charge of Leeds United
The Athletic have delved into the matter of Farke’s Leeds United future. And rather incredibly, and surely to the delight of many supporters, Beren Cross writes: “According to sources The Athletic has spoken to, who all spoke under the condition of anonymity to protect relationships, the current direction of travel would suggest Farke will remain as manager next season.”
For the time being, it seems, the 49ers and those behind the scenes at Elland Road are gearing up for the summer ahead, and the 2025/26 Premier League season with Farke as the man in charge.
But Cros concludes: “While Farke is not guaranteed to be in charge next season, all the noises out of Elland Road suggest it is far more likely than not.”

Leeds United have made one key error amid Daniel Farke uncertainty
Whether or not Farke is the right man to lead Leeds United into the Premier League remains to be seen: he might go on to prove himself in the top flight with this new-look Leeds United side, as opposed to his Norwich City teams of old, or he might be gone by the October international break.
But when the initial reports came out about Farke’s position being under threat it immediately created an image of uncertainty behind the scenes. That couple with the likes of CEO Angus Kinnear leaving Leeds United for Everton, possibly along with a couple of other names from the set up makes everything seem a little unprepared for the Premier League.
Leeds United could’ve and possibly should’ve shut down the rumours that Farke was up for the sack as soon as the news came out, if they knew all along that they’d be backing him to lead the club into next season.
Something suggests that this isn’t the end of the Farke out saga.
