Leeds United were linked with a whole host of managers following the sacking of Jesse Marsch in February – with Leeds trying to bring in a number of gaffers still in work. Now, almost six weeks on, how are those managers faring?
Leeds linked with a whole host of managers: How are they faring now?
Arne Slot (Feyenoord)
Leeds were first linked with the Dutchman when 90Min reported our interest on February 8. Since, his side have won eight out of their next 10 games, drawing the other two – and are six points clear at the top of the Eredivisie.
Andoni Iraola (Rayo Vallecano)
Not a similar story for Iraola. The Athletic reported Iraola was under consideration on February 6, having guided Rayo to the European places in La Liga. But since the report, Rayo have gone six without a win – losing three times.
Carlos Corberan (West Brom)
On the same day as Iraola, Corberan was touted by The Mail. But he signed a new West Brom deal. Results have been mixed. Three wins, three draws, two losses. They are in the hunt for the play-offs, but are five points off sixth.

Raul (Real Madrid Castilla)
Also on February 6, Spanish newspaper AS said Raul had turned down Leeds. Managing Real Madrid’s reserves, it has also been a mixed bag – winning two, drawing two and losing two of six games. Hardly, catching the eye.

Ange Postecoglou (Celtic)
TMW loosely linked Leeds with Postecoglou – but there was never any suggesting the Aussie would leave Celtic. He has watched Celtic win all seven games since, even winning the League Cup. Kenny Dalglish questioned a move.
Nuno Espirito Santo (Al-Ittihad)
The Record said ex-Tottenham man Nuno – who has Helder Costa on loan at Al-Ittihad – could come into the fray on February 9. He has worked with Rodrigo. Six wins and a draw since, including 5-0 and 5-1 victories in Saudi Arabia.
