Daniel Farke believes Glen Kamara has been performing at a ‘top level’ in recent weeks as is now ‘priceless’ to Leeds United.
Kamara made the late window move to Elland Road in the summer from Rangers after a number of months of speculation that saw him frozen out at Ibrox.
The 28-year-old was forced to bide his time to become a regular at Leeds, but has now started each of the last six Championship matches.
Farke claimed last month that Kamara was yet to reach his best levels in a Leeds shirt but speaking in his pre-match press conference, he has spoke of his delight at recent performances.
He said: “Never a perfect game for teams or players. For Glen, there is more to come and more consistency. When I judge his last five or six games I would say he is on a top level. Decision-making on the ball. Experience and class to find a good balance.
“His calmness on the ball, he is priceless. Like how competitive he is against the ball. Won many duels. Aggressive in pressing and recovering the balls. Quite crucial for our game. Pleased with him and he can go further in his way.”
Kamara now crucial to Leeds
Leeds have lost just one of the 10 matches Kamara has started since his arrival in the summer, which came back in September at Southampton – his second for the club.
In fact, Leeds’ only defeat since then came at Stoke City, where Kamara was an unused substitute as Farke looked to rotate his side amid the tight turnaround.

Kamara produced arguably his best performance in a Leeds shirt in the biggest game of the season, in a 1-0 victory at Leicester City.
Bradley Johnson also singled him out for praise after Leeds’ 3-1 win over Swansea City last week when he was on punditry duty for BBC Radio Leeds.
To say Leeds were in ‘two minds’ about signing him in the summer, he has arguably been one of the best additions of the entire window.
