A handful of Leeds United players are already being linked with the exit door come the January window but one of those may be priced out of a move away from Elland Road.
While a plethora of different players have been touted with a move to Daniel Farke’s side, there are many also being linked with the exit door. Joe Gelhardt wants to leave Leeds, he is the most-obvious one to go.
Max Wober is being targeted by Salzburg, while Wolves have been touted with a move for Wober. Glen Kamara’s Rennes have shown interest in Illan Meslier and Turkish giants Besiktas want to sign Junior Firpo.
Graeme Bailey has told LeedsUnited.News that Tottenham want Pascal Struijk among other clubs in the Premier League. Now, a European side’s sporting director has been talking about a move for a Leeds ace.

Salzburg sporting director comments on Max Wober again
The links between Wober and his old side Salzburg emerged earlier this month. Rouven Schroder refused to rule out a move for Wober that would see him return to the Austrian club two years after leaving.
Speaking to Laola1, Schroder has been speaking about a move for Wober again. He says that he Austrian outfit are likely to be priced out of a move but may still try to sign Wober anyway, with a “clever loan”.
“Wöber is one of three centre-backs at Leeds, and they have maximum ambitions to get into the Premier League. It will be difficult to put the money on the table,” Schroder said after a 3-0 win on the weekend.
“Not the hot stock at the moment. That has nothing to do with the player, he’s top. We might have to bake smaller rolls, even make a clever loan transfer,” the Salzburg man continued discussing Wober.

Max Wober’s stance on leaving Leeds and returning to Salzburg
To be speaking so publicly about a return to Salzburg for Wober, Schroder clearly has some confidence in a deal and Wober wanting to go. But, Wober’s stance was reported by Austrian media last week.
It is claimed that Wober prefers to remain at Leeds than join Salzburg. It comes after breaking into the Leeds side against Middlesbrough with Junior Firpo injured, with Wober keen on a push to get promoted.
Indeed, with Salzburg struggling, he feels the chance to get promoted is more exciting than trying to claw back a title challenge with Salzburg. He also knows a Premier League contract is much more lucrative.
If Leeds are unwilling to reduce their asking price, Salzburg unable to afford him and Wober seemingly happy to stay put, it looks as if the left-footed defender will now remain at Leeds in the January window.
