Manor Solomon’s entourage throw spanner in the works for Leeds United

Leeds United fans only want one thing to do with Manor Solomon and that is to sign him up.

The winger who has been a sensational loan signing for Leeds will have his future considered by Tottenham in a few weeks.

It’s clear that Leeds fans want Solomon permanently after he scored the winning goal to secure the Championship title for the Whites.

But Spurs may have something to say about that this summer, as they will have a decision to potentially keep Solomon.

Even the Leeds squad chanted to keep Solomon, but it might not even be Tottenham who get in their way.

Manor Solomon’s entourage causing problems for Leeds United move

Daniel Farke’s decision to sign the winger was arguably the most important choice he made this summer.

The title-winning goal exemplifies that, as Whites fans will no doubt still be watching his brilliant solo effort at Plymouth on repeat.

There was never any doubt that fans wanted to see him stay permanently but Spurs want £20 from Leeds for Solomon which doesn’t seem like a bad deal at all.

However, it’s actually the 25-year-old’s own entourage which are causing the problems as Team Football report interest from Ligue 1 side Marseille.

Leeds have been put on ‘red alert’ as the French side are working behind the scenes to try and sign Solomon.

Spurs can take advantage of his good season to sell him this summer, but the winger has been tight lipped on his future, despite Solomon expressing his love for the Leeds fans.

His agents have said a ‘great club in France’ have enquired, showing they view the side as a major contender to Leeds’ dismay.

Leeds need Solomon after Andrea Radrizzani’s comments

It’s obvious that the ownership needs to strengthen with Premier league players.

They made the promise of this not long ago as the 49ers are looking at Premier League targets, and must avoid what the bottom three of this season did in buying Championship-level players.

Solomon is certainly above the level of second tier and proved that in the run-in for Leeds, being the most important player for Farke.

This proves why Leeds need to sign the Israelian through his Premier League level talent, but more so after Andrea Radrizzani said to avoid Bundesliga players.

A signing of Solomon could set them up for a trend of properly preparing for the league instead of making the same mistakes of past time.
