Marseille haggle over Leeds target Igor Paixao fee
Leeds have hope despite Marseille’s Igor Paixao interest. It’s been stated that Marseille looked close to striking an agreement recently but others believe Leeds have not given up on signing Paixao this summer.
Previously, Paixao has called Raphinha his role model and it’s now being claimed that Leeds are using Raphinha to persuade Paixao into coming to West Yorkshire in the current transfer window.
Not only that, but Marseille are £6 million below the Paixao asking price. Leeds have more than just hope regarding the Brazilian Feyenoord winger right now.
Recent Lucas Perri complications explained
Graham Smyth has claimed Leeds are closer to a new goalkeeper addition and the talk of Lyon’s Lucas Perri and Leeds also refuses to go away.
It’s not yet clear if it is him, but Smyth has confirmed progress has been made. Lyon survived relegation to Ligue 2, however, which could complicate matters.
Rated in the region of £13 million, Perri is not pursuing an exit after Lyon won their appeal against relegation. Also, Perri is seen as one of three Leeds priorities currently.
However, the latest is that Perri is now injured with Lyon, which is another potential spanner in the works in any potential deal.
Anton Stach’s final fee confirmed between Leeds and Hoffenheim
Anton Stach underwent a medical with Leeds on Monday and should be revealed as Leeds’ sixth summer in the coming days, or potentially even today.
That’s because Florian Plettenberg says a deal for Stach is now “sealed”, with just the finer details left to be ironed out. The 26-year-old will pen a four-year deal at Elland Road, per Plettenberg.
The latest since that reveal is that it’s now been reported that Stach will cost Leeds £19.9 million. The Hoffenheim midfielder will have his medical in Germany near to Leeds’ training camp, and join up with his new teammates imminently.
