Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Bilal El Khannouss, Mateo Joseph’s future, and a new valuation for striker Artem Dovbyk.
The transfer window has around four weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are continuing to look for players in the market as more serious transfer news emerges to add to their seven summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team in pre-season ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Bilal El Khannouss could replace Brenden Aaronson, as was stated earlier this summer. However, Sunderland are also said to be keen on El Khannouss in the transfer window as well.
El Khannouss would cost Leeds around £22 million, due to a release clause in his deal, per some claims. Others believe El Khannouss’ clause is closer to £24.5 million.
What is certain is that El Khannouss is a strong consideration and that many Leeds fans are concerned by El Khannouss links as well. That’s despite the playmaker’s obvious technical ability.
The latest is that Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen are also tracking El Khannouss, with interest mounting. Leeds are also said to have offered El Khannouss a contract worth £50,000 a week, though the length is unclear.

With Farke stating Mateo Joseph felt he was not ready, even though Willy Gnonto had travelled, transfer talk continues to dominate regarding the young Spanish striker.
Real Betis remain interested in Joseph, while ambitious Girona are also looking at Joseph. Those have been sniffing for a while, after Farke confirmed Joseph had informed him of his desire to leave Leeds.
Leeds United News understands that Joseph and Leeds have agreed a deal will be sorted if an interested party bids £10 million. Betis tabled such a fee in January, but are yet to do the same this summer.
Farke confirmed Joseph is not in his plans still following the Villarreal pre-season draw on Saturday. It leaves the writing very much on the wall for the 21-year-old this summer.

With Joseph and Patrick Bamford not in the club’s plans, and Lukas Nmecha the only attacking addition thus far, Leeds need to push to sign a first-choice striker ahead of the German centre-forward.
The 28-year-old Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk has only been with AS Roma for one season but Leeds have now been linked to Dovbyk, and he could prove to be a much cheaper alternative to someone like Rodrigo Muniz.
In recent days, Dovbyk’s agent has spoken out on the transfer talk. There is talk that is a distraction after the centre-forward moved to Rome fairly recently.
However, the talk doesn’t seem to be going anywhere currently. That’s because there have been fresh claims stating that Dovbyk could actually cost Leeds £22 million, albeit other clubs are also in the mix.
