Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Bilal El Khannouss, Noah Okafor, and Illan Meslier’s Elland Road future.
The transfer window has less than three weeks remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their seven summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion and feeling more ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they are making plenty of progress but more are still set to follow.
In the meantime, with vital weeks ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team preparing ahead of Everton visiting Elland Road, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

The full details of Leeds’ transfer pursuit of Noah Okafor
Leeds United News exclusively revealed James Justin and Noah Okafor were two players in talks with Leeds. Any move for the versatile Okafor would impact Manor Solomon’s potential switch, though.
AC Milan’s Okafor is a serious target for Leeds and it’s since been revealed that it will cost Leeds in excess of £13 million to land Okafor this summer, should their interest firm up.
Leeds faced AC Milan in a pre-season friendly last weekend and one of the players who featured for Milan was forward Noah Okafor, who has attracted the attention of the Leeds hierarchy. It’s since been revealed that Milan want to offload Okafor, too.

Illan Meslier’s Leeds United future explained
Recently, Leeds United News also exclusively revealed all the details regarding the fact Leeds are now open to selling Illan Meslier following the arrival of Lucas Perri to West Yorkshire.
Meslier was omitted from the Milan squad during the final pre-season game recently. That was one nail in the coffin but Meslier was then stripped of his shirt number for the game, too.
In terms of a destination, PSG and Como are considering Meslier as a back up goalkeeper, with it now being revealed that Leeds are said to be offering Meslier around for around £5-6 million in Europe.

West Ham United join Bilal El Khannouss race with Leeds
It was said Leeds held a meeting with Bilal El Khannouss’ camp last week and also that Leeds’ El Khannouss interest has been most serious of any of the reported teams in the race of late.
However, there have been conflicting reports. One statement has been made believing that Leicester are likely to sell El Khannouss and now Newcastle United have dropped out of the El Khannouss race.
Others say that El Khannouss is not guaranteed to leave Leicester. More frustratingly for Leeds, West Ham United have joined the El Khannouss race just after Newcastle dropped out for the playmaker.
