Leeds United are hoping striker Tammy Abraham ends up at Elland Road this summer but one star could actually join him.

It’s been made clear that Leeds will want a striker this summer after Joel Piroe showed signs of inconsistency in the Championship.

This could bring the phenomenal move of Tammy Abraham to fruition, as Abraham is on Leeds’ radar.

Despite their ambition in signing the Roma striker, AC Milan will no doubt be hoping to sign him on a transfer after a solid loan spell.

This has been made clear with Milan hoping to sign Abraham permanently, but now the Englishman might not be the only player heading to Milan.

Leeds United’s Junior Firpo could join Tammy Abraham at AC Milan

With the Whites knowing they need to start getting deals into gear, the first few exciting weeks of the window are around the corner.

Milan are already causing problems for Daniel Farke’s side as Leeds are battling for target Nikola Krstovic.

Now back in the Premier League, fans will be thrilled they can compete for this calibre of player, but will also find it difficult with huge clubs fighting for signatures.

Well, instead of focusing on incomings, Farke might want to focus on one of their own being poached.

Junior Firpo will likely leave Leeds this summer with the left-back seemingly exploring a new venture, and now Milan want to try their efforts in signing the 28-year-old.

Journalist Matteo Moretto is reporting that the Italian giants have ‘shortlisted’ Firpo, as well-known senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic plans a rebuild with the Dominican Republic international playing his part.

Farke and Leeds should be going all in for Abraham

The striker is still seemingly keeping his options open, but with the likelihood of already losing Firpo to Milan, they won’t want to lose Abraham.

Farke will need an experienced head in the top flight who has been there and done it, and after a decent season in Italy, a return to the Premier League could reignite his past success at Chelsea.

Abraham’s statistics for Chelsea in 19/20 season
Games played34
Goals15
Shots on target per 901.62
Touches in opposition box157
Aerial duels won per 903.65

This speaks volumes about where Leeds must shift their number one priority, but the stumbling block is Abraham’s excessive wage.

But the 49ers will need to be ruthless and with Abraham valued at just £21m, he should be high on their list going into this campaign.
