Daniel Farke said he was “100% convinced” that Leeds United would be promoted and a few games after making the outlandish claim, Leeds have added weight to his words.
Two wins in a row have come at the perfect time, alongside Sheffield United’s implosion. Chris Wilder’s men have suffered three defeats in a row and for the first time, Leeds can feel confident of promotion.
It means that The Whites can start to plan accordingly ahead of the transfer market. Adam Pope said Leeds need to make six major signings in the summer, and probably spend north of £100m this summer.
Already, a huge number of high-profile players have been linked with a move to Elland Road. One of them is England and AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham, with his future up for discussion in the summer.

Leeds suffer blow in pursuit of Tammy Abraham amid u-turn
Abraham is currently on loan at struggling Milan, from Roma. He’s impressed on loan with Milan even if the striker has largely been second choice and used as an impact signing, having a hand in 17 goals.
But with Roma willing to cash in, Leeds are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Abraham. The belief was that with Roma willing to sell, Milan were not interested in signing Abraham permanently.
Now, a report from Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport says Milan have now decided they do want to sign Abraham after his recent form – with parent club Roma willing to cash in if a £21.5m fee is tabled.

Tammy Abraham is a big jigsaw piece towards survival
The work done in the market this summer will be focused around trying to secure top-tier survival. Every penny will be spent on attempting to do so – where Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton have failed.
Abraham is one major step in doing so, if the former Chelsea man arrives at Elland Road. But, realistically, if Milan are interested in signing Abraham permanently, the chances are he will stay put in Italy.
| Name | Games | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Minutes per G+A |
| Tammy Abraham | 89 | 5029 | 26 | 7 | 152.4 |
Plenty can happen between now and the summer window, with Leeds still needing to confirm their place in next season’s Premier League. But, Leeds’ chances of signing Abraham have taken a significant blow.
