There always seems to be the odd guest at Leeds United these days with The 49ers in control of the club, and Saturday’s win over Preston was no different.
There are plenty of famous people with a vested interest in Leeds, suggesting they have put some of their own money into The 49ers Enterprises. Many have invested and therefore, own a fraction of Leeds.
The likes of Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas were in action at The Masters, while winner Rory McIlroy actually rejected the chance to invest in Leeds. Will Ferrell was seen wearing a Leeds shirt at Coachella.
Every week, there seems to be a new recognisable face with the chances are that they are part of The 49ers Enterprises. The latest to be spotted at Elland Road was on Saturday, as Leeds beat Preston.

DaMarcus Beasley posts picture from Elland Road as Leeds win
It seems the latest investor in Leeds United and The 49ers Enterprises could in fact be a former United States international with 126 caps to his name – and ironically, a former Rangers player as well.
DaMarcus Beasley has retired after a career of terrorising opponents’ right flanks, and is spending retirement by investing in clubs. He is currently a co-owner of American minnows Fort Wayne FC.
Beasley posted a couple of pictures on X after watching Leeds secure a pivotal win over Preston, as well as uploading a picture taken alongside fellow countryman Brenden Aaronson following the victory.
He said: “Incredible atmosphere at Elland Road… great performance and 3pts. Good to see the homie Brenden after the match! Truly honored to be a small part of the Leeds United family.”
49ers investors will be delighted as Leeds on verge of promotion
The value of Leeds is set to go up drastically after Saturday’s win. Leeds have gone five clear of Sheffield United and with four games to play, Leeds only need seven points to confirm their place at the top.
That’s if Sheffield United win all of their remaining four games, which seems unlikely given The Clarets have got to play against Scott Parker’s all-conquering Burnley and have lost the last three matches.
So, promotion to the Premier League looks good for Leeds and that means the investments made by those who own even a tiny fraction of Leeds, is set to go up. Beasley, Paris Hilton and many, many more.
