With promotion secured and a possible Championship title on the way, Leeds United will be making plans behind the scenes when it comes to an incredibly pivotal summer transfer window.
Angus Kinnear is off to Everton and in light of that, with football advisor Nick Hammond now set to join Kinnear on Merseyside, Leeds have confirmed the appointment of Adam Underwood as sporting director.
The 49ers want six major new signings and Adam Pope has told Leeds they will need to spend north of £100m to survive in the Premier League. One priority for Leeds will be the signing of a new goalkeeper.
Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher, Newcastle United giant Nick Pope, Wolves’ second-choice stopper Sam Johnstone and plenty of others have already been linked. Aaron Ramsdale has a relegation release clause.

Ben Foster urges Aaron Ramsdale to join Chelsea after relegation
Leeds have been linked with a move for Ramsdale, who is likely to be on the move again after suffering a third career relegation – this time with Southampton. Ramsdale now has a relegation release clause.
Southampton spent an initial £18m to sign Ramsdale, so it is unclear how much the clause is worth. But Ben Foster has urged Chelsea to sign Ramsdale, saying he needs an established Premier League team.
“Yes, I would. He would be an upgrade… Rambo needs to find a team that are going to be a solid, settled Premier League team, and you’ll get another 10 years out of Aaron Ramsdale at the top level,” he said.
What will happen with Illan Meslier and Karl Darlow this summer?
Of course, Meslier was dropped for Darlow for the final seven games of the season and Darlow has taken his chance and then some. In his run of six games, Darlow has kept four clean sheets and conceded two.
His push into the team over Meslier has played a huge part in Leeds recapturing their superb form and winning five on the bounce. He had little to do on Monday, telling LUTV it was great to watch his mates.
Phil Hay believes Illan Meslier is “done” at Leeds this summer and will depart. That will see Darlow remain as the club’s no.1 if the club do not sign a goalkeeper, but the chances are they do and Darlow is no.2.
