With Archie Gray taking on a pivotal role at Tottenham this season the former Leeds United player is blown away by how good a Whites transfer target has been.
The 18-year-old has taken on the unfamiliar role of centre-back at Tottenham, as Ange Postecoglou labelled Gray as ‘fantastic’.
Daniel Farke will miss the youngster who proved to be vital in Leeds’ promotion push last season.
The loss of Gray hasn’t been too much of an impact but his character around the club was something Leeds fans loved.
After playing in defense for the majority of his Spurs tenure, Gray owes a lot of his success to a player Leeds wanted in the transfer window.

Archie Gray blown away by ‘outstanding’ Leeds United target
Farke believed Gray outgrew Leeds which emphasises how good of a player the 18-year-old is.
Spurs have endured their injury problems, as the Premier League side have created an unlikely centre-back partnership.
Gray talked about Ben Davies who has been linked to Leeds, as the Spurs’ prospect spoke on how important he is after Spurs’ 2-0 win against Brentford on Sunday.
“It’s a joy to play with him. He speaks me through every moment through how experienced he is and he’s seen everything in the Premier League,” Gray said to Tottenham’s media (1:05).
“It makes it 100 times easier playing with players like Ben (Davies), he was outstanding today and he really helped me through the game so it’s a credit to him.”

Davies’ displays should make him a no-brainer for move to Leeds
Leeds have been linked with Davies for some time, and Farke should really see a deal come to fruition.
The experienced defender sees his contract run out until the end of next season, but that shouldn’t stop a pursuit from Leeds.
His performances this season have warranted the interest from the Whites, as the 31-year-old also kept a clean sheet against Erling Haaland this season in Spurs’ 4-0 win over Man City.
| Davies’ best match ratings for Tottenham this season | |
| Coventry City (A) | 7.7 |
| Hoffenheim (A) | 7.6 |
| Elfsborg (H) | 7.6 |
| Brentford (A) | 7.3 |
Leeds will be hoping they’ll be a Premier League club come the summer, and Davies would add a plethora of top-flight experience.
