Leeds United would mean business if they completed the signing of Igor Paixao this summer.
Paixao is being lauded after links with Leeds as Daniel Farke could land the next Raphinha at Elland Road.
As the 49ers look to progress up the pitch and add attacking talent, Paixao has been the name on every fan’s lips at the moment.
Leeds are trying to ‘lure’ Paixao with the Raphinha comparison, as the 25-year-old has been a gem for Feyenoord.
To explain how good he is, Liverpool were firmly on the Brazilian’s radar, giving a glowing review.

Leeds United target Igor Paixao has Liverpool approval
After his time in Eredivisie has been a raging success, it’s clear to see why Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie said Paixao has ‘everything’ in his game.
From a venomous shot to quick dribbling, to being a creative outlet, the fact that Leeds could sign Paixao for £30m this summer is quite frankly a joke.
Despite Marseille showing competition for Paixao, it’s become quite clear that Paixao would rather remain at Feyenoord than join the French side.
That is until Leeds submit their first bid for the winger, and with over £60m spent of the budget, £30m can quite easily be spent.
Well, Liverpool were a side who could have spent this, but seemingly went quiet on that front after scouts watched the Brazilian in action.
CaughtOffside suggested that Arne Slot’s side had a ‘firm belief’ that the 24-year-old has what it takes to make an impact in the Premier League.
Liverpool scouts were ‘impressed’ by Paixao’s technical ability and in-game intelligence, as well as a habit of producing in the most important moments, but now Leeds have the chance to acquire his services over the Premier League champions.

Why Paixao would be perfect for Leeds after scout report
Three key elements were taken from this report. Paixao’s ability, intelligence, and clutch moments.
All three of these tools could see Leeds have their left-wing position sorted for the next two or three seasons before other clubs come snooping.
His technical quality will be vital to the Whites, as they need someone to create something out of nowhere, as the Whites could be in a relegation battle, and having his skill on the pitch would be a huge advantage.
There’s a reason why Arsenal wanted Paixao, and it’s quite shocking that no other club have pursued a deal, as adding another tool with his intelligence suits Farke, as the German prides himself on his tactical mind.
Most importantly, with Paixao, he scores in the big moments, which he’s been known to do on the biggest stage of all (0:38).
To have a winger with this pedigree and have the attitude of ‘no one is better than me’ is exactly what Farke is missing from his humble squad.
Paixao ticks all the boxes, and to have England’s best give him the seal of approval should give the 49ers the answer they need.
