Football fans can be very vocal. And one set of fans has now firmly voted against signing a Leeds United player in January.
Leeds United’s squad is the envy of many in the Championship. It’s had a lot of investment and has been very well put together by Daniel Farke and co.
After 21 games of the season, Leeds now sit in 2nd place of the Championship table after a disappointing draw at Preston last time out.
The Whites go up against Oxford United this weekend in one of three games standing between Leeds United and the New Year, and also the January transfer window.
Leeds are tipped to be inactive in January but one player could yet leave in Patrick Bamford.

Wrexham fans react to Patrick Bamford transfer links
Bamford has been linked with Wrexham and Genoa ahead of the January transfer window. But Wrexham fans aren’t too impressed by the possibility.
“No thanks”, simply said on Wrexham fan, as another added: “Too many injuries and need younger players.”
A similar comment read: “It’d be an awful signing. We need a goal scorer.” Meanwhile, plenty of Wrexham fans are concerned about Bamford’s Leeds wages.
“Would cost a fair bit and with his injury record I’d pass,” said one. Another posted: “We have a few quid but Bamford wages we do not.”
Lastly, one Wrexham fan wrote: “Think if I found out his wages I’d be sick.”
Wrexham are already discussing January transfer plans and Bamford may well become a prime target for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s side, as they eye a third-straight promotion.

Daniel Farke makes Leeds United transfer stance clear
Whilst Wrexham are already well underway in their January planning, Leeds are not. Speaking to the press on Thursday, Farke insisted that Leeds transfer talks won’t commence until January 4th, when league fixtures break for the FA Cup.
When asked about Bamford’s links to Wrexham and Genoa, Farke explained: “No I’m not aware of any interest, we want all our players to be focused on us right now.” Farke later added: “Till the 4th of January, there won’t be any decisions made.”
Given Bamford’s wages and the fact that he remains under contract until 2026, moving him on before then could prove very tricky for the Whites.
