There’s one Leeds United player who’s shot into transfer headlines recently, with an exciting potential move on the cards for him.
Leeds United could have something of a clearout in the upcoming January transfer window with several names out of contention under Daniel Farke right now, and several others attracting top flight interest.
Illan Meslier is now a target for Arsenal with the Gunners looking for a new no.2, whilst it’s been claimed that Spurs are keen on Pascal Struijk.
Meanwhile, Patrick Bamford has also been linked with a move away from Elland Road having featured just eight times in the Championship this season.
It’s claimed that Wrexham are interested in Bamford along with Italian outfit Genoa, though both teams may struggle to meet his wage demands at Leeds United.
League One hotshots Wrexham are looking for a third-straight promotion as their fairy tale story under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny continues.

Wrexham boss reveals January transfer talks with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney
Wrexham has become a very attractive place for players to head to and the Dragons certainly have their financial pulling power as well.
Their Hollywood owners Reynolds and McElhenney appear to play a very active role in the running of the club and speaking recently, Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson explained that more transfer talks are planned with the two owners.
Parkinson told BBC: “It’s always a bit special when Ryan is over here because he’s the joint-owner of the football club.
“I’m in touch with Rob and Ryan through texting etc. as we go along because they like to be updated all the time.
“But it’s good to have a chat, although it’s a shame we couldn’t get the points for him.
“We’ve had a chat and we’ve got another one about that [transfer window]. Rob and Ryan only get involved when we’re closing in on somebody.”

Daniel Farke quizzed on Patrick Bamford’s Wrexham links
Farke spoke to the press on Thursday afternoon and was quizzed on Bamford’s emerging links to Wrexham and Genoa.
But the Leeds boss said that he’s not heard of any interest in Bamford. Instead, Farke stated that no transfer discussions will take place at Leeds United until January 4th, when teams break for the FA Cup.
Farke said: “No I’m not aware of any interest, we want all our players to be focused on us right now.
“We have spoke about some injuries and we need to rotate and we need the whole squad to be focused on the next five.
“After the 4th of January and the FA Cup game, then we can speak about January. Till the 4th of January, there won’t be any decisions made. Want all the players to be focused.”
Wrexham and Leeds then seem to have very different approaches to the January transfer window, despite both vying for promotion from their respective leagues this season.
