Leeds United loanee Largie Ramazani has suffered a fresh injury setback as his difficult start to life with Valencia continues.
Largie Ramazani was one of the players who left Leeds late in the transfer window, having struggled for game time under Daniel Farke.
Ramazani linked up with former Leeds coach Carlos Corberan at La Mestalla and enjoyed a run of games from the bench before picking up an injury, last featuring in Valencia’s game against Girona.
Now, Valencia have confirmed that Ramazani faces a longer spell on the sidelines after providing an official update on the Leeds loanee.

Leeds United loanee Largie Ramazani faces a spell on the sidelines
In an official medical update shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), Valencia have confirmed that Ramazani’s injury will require a period of recuperation.
According to the update, Ramazani has injured his quad and he will be assessed by the club’s medical team.
The update states: “Valencia CF player Largie Ramazani is suffering from a quadriceps injury in his right leg.
“The Valencia winger will continue medical, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation treatment at the Sports City until clinical improvement.”
A subsequent report in the Spanish publication Diario AS states: “Ramazani is suffering from a quadriceps injury in his right leg, which could keep him out of the team for between a month and a half.”
As a result, Ramazani could be out of action until the beginning of December in a blow to his hopes of impressing and securing a permanent deal with Valencia.

Concerning pattern of injuries developing among Leeds United loanees
Ramazani’s injury is the latest in a concerning trend among the players who were shipped out by the club during the transfer window.
Max Wober suffered a muscular injury on the verge of the new season with Werder Bremen, and he has been limited to just one competitive appearance this season.
Fellow Bremen loanee Isaac Schmidt was forced to leave Switzerland’s international training camp earlier this week after picking up a foot injury. However, Schmidt’s injury is not thought to be serious, and he could return to action this weekend.
With Ramazani now facing a month or more on the sidelines, Leeds’ hopes of generating income from selling these three players at the end of the season have taken a short-term hit.
