Leeds United player Largie Ramazani is out to prove his doubters wrong this season, having secured an exciting loan move to Valencia before deadline day.
Largie Ramazani‘s loan move from Leeds United to Valencia raised a lot of eyebrows in the summer, especially after deadline day where Daniel Farke failed to sign any new attackers.
But for the Belgian winger, it’s a good move, and he hit the ground running under former Leeds no.1 Carlos Corberan at Valencia.
Ramazani has earned praise at Valencia after claiming an assist on his debut against Getafe last month. He’s since featured in games against Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, though the 24-year-old is yet to start a game for Valencia.
And in the last game, it seems as though the £10million signing from Almeria in 2024 has picked up a slight knock to his ankle.

Carlos Corberan confirms injury worry for Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani
Up next for Leeds United is a tricky game against Premier League high flyers Bournemouth at Elland Road, coming after Leeds’ impressive 3-1 win against Wolves in their last outing. Meanwhile, Ramazani and Corberan’s Valencia take on Espanyol away from home on Tuesday night, but the Belgian may be absent for this one.
Thankfully, though, Corberan’s comments don’t seem to suggest a serious injury blow for the Leeds loan man. Speaking to Spanish outlet Levante EMV, Corberan said: “All players have the opportunity to play. The only question mark is Ramazani, and we will have to see if he makes the squad. We do not know if he will be available after the foul he suffered.
“We will not know if he will be ready to play because he took a blow to the ankle. Other than that, all players are options.”

Largie Ramazani may have washed his hands of Leeds United after comments
Last season we saw definite glimpses of Ramazani’s quality in the Championship: he scored six times in 29 total Championship appearances, also grabbing two assists, but he was always likely to fall further down the pecking order upon promotion.
That said, only Noah Okafor arrived to bolster Leeds’ wing department this summer and so Ramazani could have had a part to play. Nonetheless, the Belgian seemed intent on moving away and playing more regular football.
Speaking after his move to Spain, Ramazani aimed a subtle dig at Leeds United and manager Daniel Farke. When he was asked ‘What did you lack to succeed at Leeds?’, Ramazani gave a surprising answer, dodging the question as he said: “Coming here [Valencia] can help me a lot.”
It may suggest that Ramazani doesn’t see a future for himself at Elland Road. Nonetheless, his immediate focus is to get back to fitness at Valencia, and then to succeed with the club.
