Leeds United have got back to winning ways with a crucial 3-1 Premier League victory over Wolves on Saturday.
It looked as if it was going to be another miserable day for Leeds United as they went behind to Wolves when Ladislav Krejci scored after just six minutes.
Yet, Daniel Farke’s side didn’t let their heads drop, continued to dominate the play and fought their way back in style.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin got the leveller with a fantastic header before Anton Stach fired Leeds ahead with a stunning free-kick.
Noah Okafor’s precision finish made it three before the break, with all goals coming from summer signings.
Wolves pushed to get back into the game, forcing Karl Darlow into some fine saves, but Leeds held firm for a massive three points.
Here’s how the players rated.
- Leeds United Premier League 2025-26 stats – Top goal scorers, assists and results

Karl Darlow – 8
Could do little about the opener but was responsive to danger, making several impressive saves in the second half, and dominated his box well as he continues to ensure Leeds don’t feel the absence of Lucas Perri.
Jayden Bogle – 7
Not the most active game for Jayden Bogle going forward, yet he still managed to set up the equaliser with a deflected cross. Solid at the back.
He went off late on with a concerning-looking injury.
Joe Rodon – 6.5
Was dragged away from his position to leave a gaping hole for Krejci to waltz through and score, but recovered to have an otherwise decent game against a giant in Emmanuel Arokodare.
Pascal Struijk – 8
Continues to be Leeds’ strongest defender this season with another resolute display. Made a crucial block just after the Whites went ahead and made several other important interventions.
Gabriel Gudmundsson – 9
The best player on the park and the spark that got Leeds back into the game. Was proactive and dangerous on the left, winning back the ball and driving it up the field before making dangerous passes.
Could have scored before Wolves took the lead and continued to be a threat throughout. More than made up for last week’s own-goal.
Sean Longstaff – 6
Not the strongest game for Sean Longstaff after a good start at the club. Failed to track Krejci’s run and whiffed his attempted intervention. Not at his best in the tackle but tidy enough on the ball.
Ethan Ampadu – 8
A monster at the base of midfield once again. Wolves aimed to hit Leeds on the counter but Ethan Ampadu seemed to cut out every sniff of an attack and ensured Leeds maintained pressure on their opponents. Made a vital block late on as Wolves pushed to get back into the game.
Anton Stach – 9
Stach has struggled to live up to expectations in the early stages of the season but this performance is exactly what Leeds spent big money on him for.
The German blasted in a sublime free-kick to get Leeds in front and then created the third by intercepting the ball and playing through Okafor. In addition, he too was imperious off the ball.
More performances like this, please.
Brenden Aaronson – 6
Much to some fans’ chagrin, Brenden Aaronson kept his place in the side but he did justify his inclusion. While it wasn’t the most captivating performance, he swung in some dangerous crosses and worked hard on the right flank.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 8
Performances like this one are why Leeds took the risk on signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
It was a slow start, with the striker failing to anticipate some dangerous passes into the box, but it was his craning, powerful header that got Leeds back level and it brought him to life.
He gave Leeds real presence and bite in attack, winning the free-kick that Stach scored from, too.
Noah Okafor – 8
Another encouraging display from the one forward Leeds actually spent money on in the summer.
Okafor was a really useful outlet on the left, willing and able to carry the ball past defenders and gain ground in the opposing half. End product was a bit lacking until he perfectly found the bottom corner.
