Daniel Farke’s criticism of Largie Ramazani

Speaking in April 2025, Farke explained that he wasn’t happy with Ramazani’s lack of focus on the pitch.

He said: “We all love Ramazani; he has that touch of magic.

“But a few things are not negotiable. You want to make your team fresher instead of a bit lazier, we know Largie has that capacity.

“He lost focus and lost the ball like last home game, and Ao Tanaka got a yellow card.”

When explaining loaning Ramazani out, Farke said: “You won’t hear one bad word from me right now about Largie, especially not once he is pretty close to leaving.

“I think this would lack class, and it’s also not my honest opinion because I think he’s an unbelievable player. He was always professional when he was here. He also showed his talent and his potential, especially in the last game days when we were celebrating, and he was such a great teammate.”
