Daniel Farke will be proud of his own achievements this season in what has been a topsy-turvy campaign for Leeds United.

The Whites will be in the Premier League next season, and Farke deserves every bit of credit.

It comes as a shock that the Leeds hierarchy are looking to sack Farke, but it seems as though those claims have been rubbished.

The 49ers seemingly want to keep Farke, but it’s clear this could be a situation that goes back and forth for a while.

Away from these murmurs though, Farke has spotted something that Leeds fans are still yet to do for him.

Daniel Farke calls out Leeds United fans after two years

It seems like fans are more on the side of Farke staying now having had their doubts.

Before promotion was secured it got to the point where Leeds fans saw Farke on his final straw.

A brilliant ending to the season has changed that, and now the Whites are aiming for the Championship title.

Although fortunes are changing on Farke’s side of things, there is still something that doesn’t sit right with the Leeds boss.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he admitted he was jealous of something Harry Gray has already which he doesn’t.

“I was hoping I had a song about myself after two years,” Farke said.

“Gray already has two songs! So I was a bit jealous if I’m honest.”

Farke’s deserves more respect than he’s getting at Leeds

With this in mind, it’s obvious Farke will never reach the same admiration as Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa who was at the club for four seasons was adored by the fanbase, but it doesn’t seem like Farke has reached anywhere near that point yet.

Even though Farke is breaking Leeds records it’s clear the fans want to see a strong season in the top flight, which is something Bielsa managed.

Although this is something he needs to prove, this season has shown that despite brilliance it doesn’t always give the credit Farke deserves.

Those numbers don’t come naturally, and what’s even more apparent is that Leeds trump Burnley on some defensive statistics.

It’s clear Farke’s job has only just started, but he deserves plaudits for what he’s done for Leeds so far.
