Alarm bells could be ringing around Leeds United if signings aren’t made this January as Daniel Farke is also seemingly getting impatient.
It’s been a frustrating January for Whites fans and the Leeds boss is sharing that frustration despite Farke’s promise of a quiet transfer window.
Hope is still there, as Cameron Archer has emerged as a transfer target, with Leeds confident of signing Archer.
Despite the confidence, Farke hasn’t heard anything regarding Archer’s interest, so time will tell whether a deal for the striker comes to fruition.
After his denial though, Farke did make it obvious he wants something from the 49ers before the transfer deadline.

Daniel Farke has asked for a Leeds United signing from the 49ers
The 49ers and Farke have so far had a comfortable relationship at Elland Road.
The owners still trust Farke but is the same being reciprocated in terms of transfers, as it looks as though Paraag Marathe has gone back on his transfer pledge.
Farke spoke in his pre-match press conference (7:53) about his demand to the 49ers regarding the no.10 position.
“On the number 10 position, we have Brendan Aaroson, but not really a ‘specialist’ in this position,” Farke said.
“The option of a number 10 would be interesting.”

Farke’s desire for a new number 10 at Leeds is clear
Farke wants to acquire a number 10 at Leeds and the Leeds boss has made it very clear that Aaronson isn’t enough in that department.
As harsh as it may seem on the American, the reality is that Leeds can’t rely on his performances as they look to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
After Leeds’ 0-0 draw with Burnley, it summed up they can’t rely on the midfielder in big moments, as Aaronson was inept of any creative spark at Turf Moor.
| Aaronson’s statistics in Burnley 0-0 Leeds United | |
| Minutes played | 90 |
| Chances created | 1 |
| Touches in opposition box | 1 |
| Successful dribbles | 1/5 (20%) |
| Duels lost | 7 |
To put it bluntly, if the 49ers don’t strengthen Aaronson’s faults, it could land a big target on the owners’ back.
