Daniel Farke showed his class during his latest Leeds United presser when asked about the recent rumours that he could leave the club this summer.
Daniel Farke has just guided Leeds United to promotion from the Premier League, earning a third career promotion from the second tier as manager.
But just a couple of days after there were reports that Leeds United could sack Farke ahead of the summer. Though those report have since been played down.
The latest news coming out of the club is that Leeds United are set to keep Farke in charge ahead of the new season with chairman Paraag Marathe confident that Farke is the man to guide this club into the future.
Next up, Leeds United face Bristol City at Elland Road on Monday night, in what is the Whites’ final home game of the campaign.

Daniel Farke responds to Leeds United exit rumours
Speaking ahead of the Bristol City game, Farke was inevitably asked for his thoughts on all the rumours and murmurings that he could be about to leave the club this summer. And the German gave a very professional and measured response to the claims, which he’s no taking to heart in the slightest.
Farke said: “The big problem is, if you’re in change for this club and you take it personally, or you are distracted from what your focus should be on, or you’re struggling a bit or you suffer, or you lose self-confidence or the concentration, then you can’t lead this club. It’s difficult. It’s challenging.
“I don’t think the answer that this club has never – apart from Marcelo’s great season – promoted in the last 35 years. It’s not because the managers and players were all so clueless, and so poor in all of the last 35 years, but to handle the pressure and the expectations, all the rumours and all the gossip.”

If ever Leeds United fans needed some kind of proof that Farke could become just as successful as Bielsa was for Leeds United in the Premier League, if not better, then it lies in comparing the pair’s promotion-winning seasons.

Bielsa was of course helped out by his signings when Leeds United were promoted. Not only was he backed but the club signed names like the now Ballon d’Or candidate Raphinha under his watch.
Farke will play a key role in transfers this summer and he needs to get them absolutely bang on. He needs to maintain a blend of young and old and he also needs to ensure he has players with Premier League pedigree in his ranks.
For now though, Farke looks like he’s staying, and it looks like all the noise about his future isn’t having an impact on him either.
