Daniel Farke has guided Leeds United to promotion from the Championship but already, there is talk over his future at Elland Road despite getting The Whites into the Premier League.

With what started as an agenda pushed by Gabby Agbonlahor on TalkSPORT this week, with Farke’s poor record in the Premier League used as bait, The Mail now report The 49ers are considering Farke’s future.

Of course, Farke’s time at Norwich was hamstrung at the start in the Premier League. A lack of funding saw Farke forced to use players that had no Premier League experience, or were simply not good enough.

But all of the talk in the footballing world now seems to be whether Farke will be in the dugout for the first game of the Premier League season. It seems likely after Paraag Marathe praised “relentless” Farke.

Farke sack is a “disgrace”, how long will he get to prove himself

Typically, Agbonlahor was all guns blazing on TalkSPORT regarding Farke’s future once again. The Aston Villa icon has become renowned for trying to rile up Leeds supporters since entering the punditry world.

But TalkSPORT presenter Alan Brazil shut Agbonlahor down. Speaking on Thursday (April 24, 6.25AM), Brazil said it would be a “disgrace” if Farke is sacked and thinks he should be given four or five games.

“Promotion and he should get the sack? That’s a disgrace. You’ve got to give him a chance. You give him four or five games, but I don’t care who’s in there – Leeds are going to struggle. It’s a great project.”

Who is being touted with possibly replacing Daniel Farke?

The report states Leeds want a manager in the same ilk of Andoni Iraola. The Bournemouth manager has starred at The Vitality Stadium, after Iraola had been linked with replacing Jesse Marsch at Elland Road.

Who that is remains to be seen. Darren Bent thinks Jose Mourinho would be tempted to take over at Leeds, with the Special One currently working at Fenerbahce. Carlos Corberan is always linked with Leeds.

The Spaniard, who worked as Leeds’ U21 manager and then as an assistant to Marcelo Bielsa, is currently impressing in La Liga with Valencia after leaving West Brom. But surely, Farke gets a chance to lead Leeds.
