Daniel Farke may have to ruffle a few feathers in the Leeds United squad to get the best out of them in the promotion run-in.
Farke will have decisions to make after the break, and his plans may have been affected by international performances.
Dan James continued his form with Wales, which leaves Farke with no option but to continue starting the winger.
Another position that could be decided is his use of strikers, as Mateo Joseph impressed Spain fans.
But a player before the break showed glimpses that may give the Leeds boss some thinking time.
Daniel Farke says Willy Gnonto is closer to starting for Leeds United
With the run-in set to throw up some curve balls in the promotion race, Farke will have to be clever with his decision-making.
Now it’s clear he’s taken an interest in Willy Gnonto starting more often after he impressed against QPR before the break.
The Leeds boss has mostly given Manor Solomon and James the runout on the wings, but Leeds fans were impressed with Gnonto, and it seems the Whites manager shared the same thoughts.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Swansea City on Saturday, Farke gave insight into where the Italian fits into his plans despite Gnonto being 50/50 for Leeds after his injury with Italy during the break.
“Willy has to be fit for consideration. He was on the up and had good chances,” Farke said.
“When he has a knock, it’s more tricky to put him in. Harder to put a player in after a few weeks without starting. Last weeks, closer to starting.
“Good advert for him at QPR.”

Farke has to try Gnonto at Leeds otherwise exit talks could loom
It’s unlikely that Gnonto will feature at Elland Road on Saturday, with the 21-year-old’s injury being monitored closely.
Farke won’t want to make matters worse if Gnonto managed to worsen his situation.
But once he’s had enough resting period, Farke will have no excuse but to start him.
Although his performances have been hit and miss, Gnonto has attracted Champions League interest which gives a clear indication to the ability he possesses.
If Farke doesn’t give the winger a chance soon, he’ll only be letting Gnonto get further away from Leeds.
